The kibō website has been completely rebuilt from the ground up using only pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. By avoiding frameworks and unnecessary dependencies, the new site delivers a faster, leaner experience, while maintaining a focus on accessibility and simplicity.
Simplified Self-Hosting with Rust
In an architectural update, Node.js has been removed as a dependency, leaving Rust as the only required component to run kibō. This change makes it easier for users to self-host the project, ensuring more flexibility and greater longevity for the platform. Rust’s robust performance and security features make it an ideal choice for a Bitcoin-related project that requires reliability and scalability.
Additional Enhancements
