At the recent BTC Prague conference, Braiins, a company that has been building on Bitcoin since 2010, announced the launch of their new Mini Miner. The Mini Miner is designed for home use, with a small, silent, and simple design that allows users to plug it in anywhere in their house.

The Mini Miner boasts a hashrate of 1 Th/s and a power consumption of 40 W, making it an energy-efficient option for home mining. It is also Stratum V2 ready, which means it offers increased security with end-to-end encryption and reduced data loads thanks to its binary protocol.

One of the unique features of the Mini Miner is its customizable display, which can show real-time stats and the current Bitcoin price in USD. The miner is built with top-quality components, including an anodized aluminum case, a TFT active matrix display, and a BCB 100 Control Board with pre-installed Braiins OS firmware.

Braiins is marketing the Mini Miner as a way for individuals to participate in solo mining, which they liken to playing a "modern-day lottery." By mining an entire Bitcoin block on their own, users can potentially secure their retirement while also contributing to the decentralization and security of the Bitcoin network.

In addition to the hardware itself, Braiins is offering educational resources to help users learn about mining. Early adopters of the Mini Miner will also receive an invitation to join the Braiins Hardware Club, which provides exclusive access to new hardware releases and events.

The Braiins Mini Miner is currently available for purchase at a price of $199. As the first-ever European mining hardware, the Mini Miner represents a new option for individuals interested in home mining.
